Living in the heart of innovation and green thinking, San Francisco Bay Area
resident Rhiannon Hull, freelance writer and self-proclaimed 'Eco-Mama', spends
her time carefully balanced between writing for her online blog "The Eco-Family:
A cost effective blog to greener parenting", teaching Yoga and caring for her
two young boys, Gianni and Julian. "I am passionate about teaching my children
the fundamentals of how important it is to care for the earth and I feel that it
is my duty as a mother to help others understand how important it is."
She has just completed her first book, "Eco-Family", and is in the process of finishing her children's book which is about teaching kids to care for the environment and why.
In addition to her fledgling writing career, Rhiannon enjoys training for Marathons (she ran the Portland, Oregon marathon under 3 hours), biking and hiking with her family, inventing 'Eco-kid recipes', doing crafts and Home schooling with her children. "Spreading information to others about the effects of global warming and the threat of ignoring our (as a society) actions is my main goal. My inspiration comes from looking in to the eyes of my children each day and doing what I can to make sure that their future is healthy, green and as fulfilling and beautiful as my own!"
